
Booking, Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy​
(The Paw Works Group (WAG & WALK + Miley’s Paw Patrol)
This page sets out our booking, cancellation and rescheduling terms for our services.
Please read the section that matches the service you’re booking.

Miley’s Paw Patrol (Dog Training)
Policy Cancellations

The booking deposit is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation.

If the appointment is cancelled within 3 working days* of the scheduled date, you will be invoiced for the full amount of the session excluding any travel fees.
The total fee will also be charged if you fail to meet your scheduled appointment without informing us.
​

If the appointment is cancelled with notice of between 3 and 7 working days, you will be invoiced 25% of the total fee.
​

If the appointment is cancelled with more than 7 working days’ notice, you will lose your booking deposit only.
​
Rescheduling:
​
If you are simply changing the time of your appointment but keeping the same date, the following does not apply.
​

If you need to reschedule your appointment, you must book the session again within 1 month of the original date, otherwise this will be treated as a cancellation and the charges above will apply.
The only exception is if we are unable to see you within this time period.

If the appointment is rescheduled less than 7 working days before it is due, the booking deposit will be lost and you will need to provide a new booking deposit to secure the new appointment.

If the appointment is rescheduled with more than 7 working days’ notice, your booking deposit will be held over for the new appointment so long as the new date is within 1 month of the original date.

Rescheduled appointments are subject to the same cancellation/rescheduling policies as the original appointment.
​
*Working days do not include Sundays or Bank Holidays.

WAG & WALK
(Dog Walking) — Policy
*We reserve walking slots in our schedule, so late cancellations may still be chargeable.
​
Cancellations (one-off walks)
​
-
48+ hours’ notice: you will receive a credit for the walk fee (no refunds).
Credits are valid for 30 days from the date the credit is issued.

24–48 hours’ notice: 50% of the walk fee will be charged.
​

Less than 24 hours’ notice: 100% of the walk fee will be charged.
​

No access / no show: if we arrive and cannot access your dog (or you’re not available for handover), the walk will be charged in full.

Cancellations (recurring weekly/fortnightly clients)

Your slot is reserved for you each week/fortnight.

If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, that walk will be charged in full.

Frequent late cancellations may result in us being unable to continue holding a fixed slot time.

Rescheduling:
​

If you need to change the day/time, please give as much notice as possible.
​

Rescheduling is subject to availability and may not be possible at short notice.
​

If a reschedule request is made within 24 hours of the walk, it will be treated as a late cancellation unless we can fill the slot.​​
Weather & safety:
​
-
Walks may be adjusted (shortened, route-changed, or moved) in extreme weather for your dog’s safety.

If conditions are unsafe (extreme heat, storms, ice), we may replace the walk with a toilet break / garden visit where possible, or rearrange.
